How To Retrieve and Restore Opportunities From The Recycle Bin

Created by Tim Pham, Modified on Mon, 9 Feb at 11:01 PM by Alsabana Sahubarali

Objective

The purpose of this article is to instruct users on how to retrieve and restore opportunities from the recycle bin. If you are not an Outreach Admin, you may not be able to perform this restore process.

Additionally, when searching for the opportunity directly from the opportunities list view, the recycled opportunity will not appear in search results unless the Recycled filter is applied.

Note: The Recycled feature on an opportunity can only be set when using the Salesforce CRM integration 'Merge & Delete' feature to reflect when an opportunity is recycled in your CRM. While an Outreach Administrator can view Recycled opportunities, it is not possible to manually mark an opportunity as Recycled. At this time, this feature is not available to Microsoft Dynamics CRM customers.

Applies To

  • Recycling Bin
  • Opportunities merged or deleted in Salesforce
  • Admins

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Opportunities List View
  2. Filter for "Recycled"
