How to Edit/Empty a Field in Bulk

Objective

This article explains how to empty a field in bulk. This is useful if you need to remove values from a custom field, or any field in Outreach. 

Applies To

• Prospect update
• Custom Field bulk update 

Procedure

1. Log in to Outreach.
2. Navigate to the Prospects page. 
3. Search by the field you would like to empty, for example, Custom 6 is not empty. This is to find all the prospects that have an added value in this field. 
4. Select all prospects. 
5. Click on Edit, then select the field in question. Keep the new value field empty.
6. Click on Save. 

The steps will remove any values from the custom field on the selected prospect. This could be done to any field available in the Edit menu.
