Outreach & Salesforce Aloha ("Classic"): Click to Email

Purpose: 

The purpose of this article is to provide direction to Outreach Users in utilizing the Click-to-Email function. 

Many teams use Outreach from within Salesforce. With the Outreach Everywhere Chrome Extension, it's simple to email your Leads or Contacts right from your workflow.

Intended Audience:

Click to Email in Salesforce Aloha ("Classic")

1. From the list view, or from the lead/contact profile in Salesforce, prospect's email address.
2. The extension will open to a compose window, where you can create and format the email to your prospect.
3. If the lead does not yet exist in Outreach, you can select the “track-as-a-prospect” option, which appears at the bottom of the compose window next to the click tracking option. With this enabled, Outreach will create a new prospect profile with the associated email address.
4. Based on your plugin settings, Outreach will map the appropriate Salesforce lead/contact to the corresponding email address and, based on your plugin settings, the email activity will be synced with Salesforce.
