Objective
Enable the Auto-detect phone numbers feature in the Outreach Everywhere Chrome browser extension.

Before You Begin
- Download and install Outreach Everywhere.
- Please note that the feature to auto-detect phone numbers only works where the Outreach Everywhere extension is supported.
Procedures
Enabling the Auto-Detect phone numbers feature
- Access the Outreach Platform.
Note: Alternatively, launch the Outreach Everywhere extension, hove over the left edge of the extension panel, click the left-facing arrow to expand it, then continue through the steps below. - In the bottom left-hand corner of the navigation sidebar, click the user's initials > Personal Settings.
- In the Outreach Everywhere tile, click Outreach Everywhere settings.
- Check the box next to Auto-detect phone numbers.
- Click Save.
Using Auto-detect phone numbers with Outreach Everywhere
- Confirm your account has Outreach Voice enabled and setup properly.
- Locate the applicable number in Salesforce or Gmail.
- Click the applicable phone number to initiate the call.
Note: Numbers associated with a Prospect display the Prospect's name in the call bar. Numbers not associated with a Prospect display the number only.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot click to dial, the phone number is likely not a 'TEL' Link. There are several different ways to check whether a phone number is formatted as a 'TEL' link:
