Emails marked as "Auto-retrying, Mailbox not recently synced"

Symptom

Emails in Outbox show up as "Auto-retrying" and give the message of "Mailbox not recently synced, auto-retrying in..." 

Applies To

  • Outreach Users
  • User Mailbox Settings
  • Email Delivery

Resolution

  1. Log in to Outreach.
  2. Click Personal settings.
  3. Click on the mailbox you're using for sending.
  4. Click on Sync settings option on the left-hand side menu.
  5. Scroll up slightly to reveal the Require mailbox to be recently synced before sending checkbox
  6. Uncheck the box and click save.

You should now be able to retry the mailings that have failed due to the sync.
